Through traveling all her life, artist Rita BasuMallick has been exposed to a diverse amount of global inspiration. Her paintings are expressions of the way she sees life- a harmony of emotions, cultures and nature. She feels that there is always a deeper layer to everything in life and represents that through all the layers of paint she applies in her paintings, as in her featured artwork 'Bhutanese Black Hat Dancers' now on view at Onishi Gallery through Onishi Project, ending today at 5pm.
